The City of Pittsburgh Department of Innovation & Performance and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh are inviting all those interested to participate in the city's inaugural Innovation Week, from April 1 through April 9.

There are more than 25 partner organizations and 20 events already planned through the week, with hopes to schedule more. If you would like to host an event, or stay connected with the latest Inclusive Innovation Week news, please see the Inclusive Innovation Week page.

In September the City, the Department of Innovation & Performance and the Urban Redevelopment Authority launched the Roadmap for Inclusive Innovation. The mission of Inclusive Innovation Week is to continue the work of the Roadmap by promoting the City of Pittsburgh as a hub of equitable access to innovation, celebrate organizations, people and partners who are doing incredible work, and invite more people to find ownership in innovation.

On Friday, March 18, Mayor Peduto, in light of the Pittsburgh Bicentennial, will be celebrating the city of Pittsburgh’s incorporation in the lobby of the City County Building. The Oakland Business Improvement District, in collaboration with the Oakland Planning & Development Corporation and the Oakland Transportation Management Association, will be holding a table showcasing Oakland’s transformation over the years. If you, or anyone you know, have any old pictures of Oakland and you’re willing to share them for this display. The photos can be anything – from residential Oakland, to the business district; from the universities to the cultural amenities – they’d be happy to take a look!
We wouldn’t mind having pics of our neighborhood for our own photo display on the website!
If you need help scanning  let us know.

Attached are the latest designs for the Campus Advantage project on Forbes Avenue. The developer presented these designs at the Public meeting on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.
The new designs have a significantly larger footprint for the building because they include the neighboring lot (Arby's). The designs also show a lower building height than the original drawings.
Please review the attached designs and provide any feedback, concerns, or questions you have. OPDC intends to sit down with the developers prior to their Planning Commission briefing.
